Apparently, the self-esteem movement worked. A 2006 survey of high school students demonstrates that they think very highly of themselves. Their self-esteem is very high–too high, in fact. Dr. Mohler writes about the dilemma in his blog. It is curious that we are supposed to make sure all have a high self-esteem. Yet, when we all have a high self esteem things get ugly. Maybe the Bible’s got it right after all. Maybe we are born with a high self-esteem and what we need to learn is God-esteem.
What do you think?
