In Cambodia, almost no one has grandparents. They were all slaughtered by Communist do-gooders who were confident they knew what was best for all. So, in the name of what was good for the state, the do-gooders killed a generation of Cambodians. The U.N. stepped in to make sure justice was served, and they failed miserably.
Read this very sad story, and you will understand why most normal folks have so little regard for the U.N. It has been 30 years since the killing fields, and the first man who is finally sentenced will serve only 19 years. So, 30 years, hundreds of millions of dollars, and still no justice for Cambodians.
What do you think?
