Muslim Justice

Perhaps you remember the recent case in Saudi Arabia where a woman who was raped repeatedly and beaten by Muslim men was convicted and punished for being in a car with a man.  Well, along those same lines, we now have another case of Muslim justice being carried out.  This time, the situation is Sudan, and the victim is a school teacher from Britain.  The crime?  The school teacher allowed her 7 year-old students to name a stuffed Teddy bear.  Unfortunately, they chose to name their stuffed bear “Muhammad.”  Now, the teacher is on trial for insulting Islam.  According to this report, If convicted, she faces up to 40 lashes, six months in jail and a fine, with the verdict and any sentence up to the judge’s discretion.
