Bluegrass Politics

Our Kentucky governor’s seat is in jeopardy tomorrow as election day draws near.  I received a call from none other than Pat Boone over the weekend asking me to vote for Ernie Fletcher because Fletcher’s opponent has been endorsed by a prominent gay rights group.  Today, I heard another ad from an African American group on the same theme, arguing for Fletcher on the basis that Beshear has been endorsed by gay rights groups.  Fletcher’s own campaign seems to be focusing on the “no to casinos” angle.  Who will prevail?  I suppose we will find out tomorrow.  Vote if you live in Kentucky.  The latest poll numbers for Fletcher are terrible.  You can read them here.
