The Gospel Revisited

As I think back over the weekend, I realize just how important the gospel is–not just important in the worship service and in the teaching and preaching of the church.  The gospel is the most important revelation man could have.  I remember having an “awakening” moment while struggling through thousands of pages of theology in Seminary.  Suddenly, I realized that I was in seminary to understand the gospel.  I had to get the gospel right, even if many other questions were left unanswered.  The gospel of Jesus Christ is still the critical component for understanding life for it is the only gospel which saves.  The gospel is the power of God for salvation to all who believe.
